KidSuper founder Colm Dillane has always had a mischievous side. And he’s embracing that in his latest collaboration.
The designer and artist has partnered with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products to reimagine some of the company’s super villains including Clayface, the Joker, Catwoman, the Penguin, the Riddler and others.
The limited-edition DC Super-Villains x KidSuper Collection offers contemporary takes on some of Warner Bros’ best-known characters.
Each of the characters has its own assortment of apparel, home goods and collectibles developed from Dillane’s hand-drawn artwork. A signature face hoodie, home goods piece or collectible has been created for each one and will be shipped in limited-edition packaging. The hoodies retail for $275 and the other products range in price from $15 to $850.

“I always wanted KidSuper to become a real superhero character,” Dillane said. “And by working with DC and WBDGCP we are getting closer than ever. It was really special to go through the archives and see the early sketches of some of the most iconic IPs ever created and to think they started off as doodles. This feels very similar to the origins of KidSuper and inspiring to see where we can take this.”
“DC Super-Villains have captivated fans for generations through their bold identities, unforgettable style and enduring impact on popular culture,” added Jessica Elliot, vice president of Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products. “Through this collaboration, KidSuper has captured their spirit with a collection that blends fashion, art and fandom in a way that speaks to both longtime DC fans and a new generation of consumers.”
KidSuper will bring the collection to life through an activation at the Rogues Gallery in Brooklyn, placing the clothes among original artwork, objects and installations. A preview will be held Oct. 19 and it will be open to the public from Oct. 20 to 23 where it will be sold onsite. It will then be released online the next day.
