Thomas Pink Supports Breast Cancer Awareness Month With Susan G. Komen Partnership

With a name like Thomas Pink, it makes sense that the brand would get involved with the battle against breast cancer.

In support of Breast Cancer Awareness month, the luxury menswear label partnered with Susan G. Komen to create a special tie to help fund research into the disease that impacts one in every eight women as well as a smaller number of men.

During October, 25 percent of the purchase price from the special $115 Pink Woven Silk Tie will be donated to Susan G. Koman to support the organization’s efforts centered around ending deaths from breast cancer.

In addition, the company was also a partner at Wednesday night’s Party in Pink at Cipriani South Street in New York City. “I lost my mom to breast cancer, which makes this partnership especially meaningful to me,” said Eli Yedid, chief executive officer of Thomas Pink. “We are honored to stand alongside Susan G. Komen and the millions of individuals and families impacted by this disease while helping advance research, patient support and advocacy efforts. Even small actions can create meaningful change, and we are proud to contribute to this important mission.”

“Our partnership with Thomas Pink is raising the funds that are needed to save lives and move closer to a world without breast cancer,” said Ed Dandridge, chairman of the Komen board. “Breast cancer has impacted millions of people and inspired leaders, including Eli Yedid, to do their part to support our efforts to ensure another life is not lost to this disease. We are grateful for Thomas Pink’s generosity, Eli for serving as a Party in Pink cochair, and their shared commitment to driving research forward and providing the support that people in treatment rely on.”
