Accountancy and advisory practice Azets has named Nicola MacAulay as its new private client tax partner in Kent, UK.
MacAulay joins from S&W, where she was private client director. She previously worked at Creaseys in Tunbridge Wells.
MacAulay will be based in Azets’ Maidstone office, with responsibility for private client work across the county.
MacAulay said: “I am gratified to have been appointed by such a forward-looking and proactive firm as Azets. It is an exciting new challenge for me and I was inspired by the firm’s culture and how the business operates.
“I am trusted by clients – primarily individuals who have generated their wealth through entrepreneurship, private equity or land sales – to provide them with sound practical advice tailored to their personal circumstances, taking into account the tax implications.”
Her role covers advisory and compliance services on personal tax, including income tax, capital gains tax and inheritance tax.
MacAulay added: “I take time to understand the way my clients operate and their approach to life so I can anticipate their individual needs – to ensure advice is appropriate as well as being technically correct.”
Azets currently has offices in Kent at Maidstone, Ashford, Canterbury, Sandwich and Sidcup.
Azets South East regional managing partner Eddi Taylor said: “Nicola is an exceptional operator whose knowledge in the private client tax space is second to none.
“She has a proven track record of building trusted relationships and delivering clear, practical advice to the individuals she supports.
“We are delighted to welcome Nicola to the team and are excited about the expertise and energy she brings to our growing Kent practice.”
Azets recently strengthened its North East audit and tax teams with new appointments across its Teesside and Newcastle offices.
“Azets appoints new private client tax partner in Kent” was originally created and published by International Accounting Bulletin, a GlobalData owned brand.
