It seems like Jennifer Lawrence has been keeping an eye on the spring 2027 runways.
Yesterday, the actor was spotted biking through Manhattan dressed in a classic white tank top, bootcut jeans, and black Havaianas. While the outfit was a timeless blank slate, Lawrence added a very au courant accessory: a gargantuan belt. The spring 2027 shows were awash with outsized cinchers, from Chanel’s low-slung tortoiseshell belt to Celine’s with the giant brass buckle to match.
But Lawrence’s take was a little more of a throwback than a fresh-off-the-runway accessory. The actor eschewed her belt loops, slinging a chunky black Tory Burch belt embellished with five rows of silver studs low across her hips. The punky look isn’t totally out of Lawrence’s wheelhouse: lately she’s been all in on studding, regularly toting an embellished Gimaguas bag.
