On that first visit to Nottingham, Meghan’s Strathberry bag and Mackage coat (brands stocked in, say, Harrods) sold out within minutes—a response that, she later told The New York Times, made her more conscious of the attention her clothes attracted and the significance they conveyed. And now? Well, what better way to reacquaint herself with the great British public than by shopping on the same high street?
