Brochu Walker Unveils First International Store in Seoul

California-based Brochu Walker has unveiled its first international flagship in Seoul.

The 7,152-square-foot Maison Seoul spans five floors at Apgujeong-ro 42-gil 26 in the city’s Gangnam district, with two floors dedicated to retail and a private VIP suite. The store, which opens to the public on Saturday local time, was introduced at a reception attended by Korean actress and Brochu Walker ambassador Cha Joo Young and Korean American violinist Danny Koo.

Designed by Seoul-based Blurker Design Studio in collaboration with Brochu Walker chief executive officer and chief creative officer Karine Dubner, the flagship incorporates Italian marble, quartz, natural oak and traditional hanji paper, as well as lacquered details inspired by Korean craft traditions.

Dubner also commissioned local artists Ko Somi, who created a cashmere chandelier incorporating hanji paper, and Myungjin Lee, whose ceramic column sculpture is installed in the VIP suite.

“Maison Seoul represents years of dreaming, designing, and thoughtful collaboration,” Dubner said in a statement. “It captures everything we believe Brochu Walker should be. Quiet, beautiful, intentional, and deeply personal.”

Founded in 2008, Brochu Walker is known for its understated assortment of knitwear, tailored separates and dresses.

The opening builds on Brochu Walker’s growing U.S. retail footprint, which includes stores in Carmel and Montecito, Calif.; Westport, Conn.; Southampton, N.Y., and Atlanta’s Buckhead Village. The privately held brand will continue its expansion with stores in Nashville and Austin slated to open in late 2026.

“With Maison Seoul now open, I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve created and even more inspired for what’s next,” Dubner continued. “Every store tells its own story, and after bringing our first international flagship to life, I can’t wait to work next on Nashville, designed with the same level of intention and sense of place.”
