Dolce & Gabbana Taps Steven Meisel for Fall 2026 Campaign

TOGETHER AGAIN: Dolce & Gabbana is further cementing its relationship with Steven Meisel.

Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana have tapped Meisel to shoot their brand’s fall 2026 campaign, the latest collaboration in their longstanding creative relationship with the American photographer. Since the fall 1989 season, Meisel has helped define the visual identity of the brand’s campaigns.

With the images, Meisel highlighted Dolce & Gabbana’s signifiers and codes, including the designers’ beloved Sicilian themes, their tailoring, religious symbols and lace details, with a focus on the color black, offset for example by the brand’s accessories in burgundy.

For men, Dolce & Gabbana shined a light on sartorial looks, knitwear and denim.

The campaigns for men and women are autonomous, yet complementary in a dialogue between femininity and masculinity.

In June, co-chief executive officer Stefano Cantino told WWD that “Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana have a strong point of view on both genders.” Launched as a women’s brand more than four decades ago, “with a feminine, sexy and sensual aesthetic, Dolce & Gabbana comprises both men’s and women’s collections with a singular vision, which translates into a strong business opportunity. The breadth of the offer is unique, starting from fashion to tailoring, lifestyle and couture.”
