This is a big week for country artist Ian Munsick.
Not only will he be releasing his fourth studio album, “The Mountain Goat,” this Friday, he’s also launching a capsule collection with Westernwear brand, Schaefer Outfitter.
“The wait is over. Our clothing line collaboration with Schaefer Outfitter is finally yours. Caroline and I have waited years to deliver the kind of quality and style that this line embodies,” Munsick said. “I’ll be wearing every single piece both on stage and on the ranch in Wyoming.”
Founded in Jackson Hole, Wyo., Schaefer Outfitter has been providing Westernwear to working cowboys and ranchers for four decades. The Ian Munsick collection includes pearl snap shirts, outerwear, hats and graphic T-shirts, which the artist and his wife Caroline designed in partnership with the brand. They provided direction on the design, artwork, fabric details and name inspiration for the collection.

Following the album drop, Munsick will hit the road and Schaefer Outfitter will accompany him in certain spots in the West including Park City, Utah; Laramie, Wyo., and Deadwood, S.D., where fans will be able to see and try on pieces from the collection. Munsick’s tour merchandise operation will also carry the brand’s hats and T-shirts.
“The entire Schaefer Outfitter team is so thankful that we were able to be part of Ian’s journey,” added Jason Smith, chief executive officer of Schaefer Outfitter. “From the very beginning, we could not believe how much Ian’s commitment to quality, creativity and giving back to the community of fans directly aligned with Schaefer Outfitter’s core values. We are so excited to get this out into the wild, and we can’t wait to see you singing along in the Ian Munsick + Schaefer Outfitter collection.”
“The Mountain Goat” features 15 tracks and Munsick is featured playing nine different instruments on the album.
