Both tennis great Roger Federer and longtime sports journalist Mary Carillo donned custom navy Brooks Brothers blazers for their induction into the Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport, R.I., this past weekend.
Brooks Brothers is the official blazer partner of the International Tennis Hall of Fame and chief executive officer Ken Ohashi presented the blazers to Hall of Fame copresident Kim Clijsters at the organization’s Fit for Fame dinner on Friday night. She formally awarded the blazers to the inductees on Saturday night, an evening that included an introduction by fellow Hall of Famer Billie Jean King. Federer’s wife, Mirka Federer, introduced him to the attendees.

Each of the blazers featured one-of-a-kind linings designed to celebrate the careers and personal milestones including photos and meaningful messages reflective of their journeys in the sport.
The induction ceremony was part of a sold-out weekend at the Hall of Fame, which included an exhibition, conversations and other immersive experiences. Among those who were on site were John McEnroe, Andy Roddick, Stan Smith, Martina Navratilova, Mats Wilander, Pam Shriver and Gabriela Satatini. Many of those attendees also donned Brooks Brothers blazers for the evening.
