Sézane Opens First Los Angeles Store at Brentwood Country Mart

Sézane is taking a more tightly edited approach to its U.S. retail strategy.

The Parisian brand is opening its first stand-alone brick-and-mortar store in Los Angeles in Brentwood Country Mart, following a string of pop-ups at the shopping center that were extended multiple times in response to customer demand. The new boutique, open Friday, introduces what Sézane describes as a “jewelry box” format, with a smaller footprint built around a highly curated selection of the brand’s strongest-performing products.

Bestsellers on display include the Will jacket in chocolate and the Clie and Lani shirts, alongside upcoming fall pieces such as the Jule jacket in light olive green and the Theo and Edgar jumpers. The opening coincides with the launch of Sézane’s fall 2026 ready-to-wear and accessories collection.

“This is Sézane as I have always imagined it,” said founder and chief executive officer Morgane Sézalory in a statement.

Founded in Paris in 2013 by Sézalory, Sézane started online with limited releases before expanding into physical retail. Beyond women’s ready-to-wear, Sézane now offers Octobre Editions for men, Petit Sézane for children and Les Composantes for home.

The boutique features glossy bordeaux lacquer, striped upholstery and antique mirrors, bringing its Parisian aesthetic to life with vintage-inspired details that have long been central to the brand’s DNA.

The U.S. remains one of Sézane’s key markets alongside France, according to the company. The brand counts permanent stores in the NoLIta neighborhood of New York City, Brooklyn, San Francisco and Seattle, and has continued to build its U.S. presence this year, launching a Dallas pop-up in June. Globally, the company operates 26 locations across the U.S., France and Europe.
