The Beckhams certainly know how to do family vacation right. David and Victoria, daughter Harper, sons Cruz and Romeo (plus respective girlfriends Jackie Apostel and Kim Turnbull) have been celebrity hotspot hopping all summer long: Ibiza, Saint-Tropez, Positano, and now, Portofino.
In among the glitzy beach club lunches and time spent sunning on their super yacht Seven, Victoria was spotted employing David as her husband-photographer. The paparazzi have their long lenses, but VB is creative directing what she’s posting to Instagram Stories.
Victoria and David, Harper, Cruz, and Jackie had just grabbed something to eat at a spot on the waterfront of the famous Italian riviera town. Victoria took the moment on land to get some shots, posing for David’s digital camera. The designer sported a silky white bias cut slip dress with lace inserts and a plunging back with criss-cross strap details, which she styled with a wide-brimmed straw bucket hat and tan and black Chanel sliders. She also wore her signature oversized black sunglasses and a rust colored Birkin bag.
David opted for a similarly sunny and light look, wearing a butter yellow tee shirt and matching shorts, tan boat shoes, and a beige cap. It wasn’t long before they were back onboard the yacht, David in the same yellow swim shorts and Victoria in a brown bikini.
Island to island, hotspot to hotspot, the Beckhams have firmly established their own Euro summer style. Victoria, for one, usually calls upon her own label for draped max dresses with luxurious accessories: a structured, woven Loro Piana beach bag, a suite of Birkins, brown leather Hermès Oran sandals, a straw chapeau.
It’s been a long, hot VIP summer along the Italian riviera; everyone from LeBron James to Dua Lipa and George and Amal Clooney have been enjoying la dolce vita around the Amalfi Coast. Other favorite destinations? Ibiza continues to reign supreme as the Balearic island of choice, where Leonardo DiCaprio and Vittoria Ceretti, Dua and Callum Turner, and Dakota Johnson have all been seen. Sardinia has also been popular, with sightings of Katie Perry and Justin Trudeau, as well as Kylie Jenner.
And as David Beckham goes to show, behind every great vacation photo is a spouse who knows their S.O.’s best angles.
